Detailed Itinerary
Pick up from your accommodation in Marrakech at 8 o´clock in the morning,we ll start our Day trip to the High Atlas mountains going through Tizi N´Tichka port with stops for panoramic views, On the way we will see many Berber villages, Then we continue to the south and detour to take 9 km of a small road that will take us to the ksar (fortified village) of Ait Ben Hadou where we will visit the famous Kasbah (declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986). The Famous films have been shot there, including Gladiator , Obelix, The Mummy, The Jewel of the Nile, Sahara with Penélope Cruz…etc. then Free time for lunch in town.
In the afternoon we continue to Ouarzazate, where we’ll visit The Atlas Studios , the most important cinema studios in Morocco. Very celebrated films have been made there by international movie producers such as: Asterix and Cleopatra, Star Wars, The Mummy, Gladiator. We can also visit the Taourirt kasbah, one of ancient and most spectacular ksars in Morocco. We will go inside this town and amaze with its design and Return to Marrakech, after that transfer to the hotel and end of the tour.
Ait Benhaddou is a small village located in south Morocco. An Ait Benhaddou day trip from Marrakech is possible , Ait Benhaddou is one of the best-preserved kosor in southern Morocco and listed as a Unesco World Heritage Site since 1987.
